Description

Edmund John Senkler (fl. 1835 - 1898 or 1900), a native of England, was called to the bar in 1860 and practised law in Brockville, Ontario. He was appointed Crown attorney for the counties of Leeds and Grenville in 1863 and judge of the County of Lincoln in 1877.
These fonds consist of a notebook containing miscellaneous information on subjects ranging from physics and geometry to astronomical observations such as sightings of comets and meteors, as well as biographical information concerning English astronomer James Bradley (1693-1762), and other historical figures such as Copernicus, Plato and Nostradamus.

Ce fonds est constitué d'un carnet de notes contenant des informations sur divers sujets allant de la physique et la géométrie à des observations astronomiques comme l'observation de comètes et de météores.
