James J. Morrison (1861 - 1936) was a farm leader, salesman and politician who helped found the United Farmers of Ontario (UFO) political party in 1914, and was the party's general secretary from 1914 to 1933. He turned down the opportunity to become premier when the party obtained power in 1919 as part of a coalition government, and he nominated E.C. Drury as Premier of Ontario. Drury was in power until 1923.
This collection contains Morrison's typewritten memoirs, which briefly describes his childhood and upbringing, but mostly consist of an unfinished account of the early days of the UFO and Drury's acquisition of the premiership.
