It was founded in 1907. The organization seeks to build awareness and appreciation of the contribution of architecture to the physical and cultural well-being of Canadians. Its mission is to affirm that architecture matters, celebrate the richness and diversity of architecture in Canada, and support architects in achieving excellence.
